In all Andalusian cities and villages you can find its well known pottery. The main colours used are blue and green. You can find dishes, pots, tiles, etc. Especially Granada offers very many shops where it can be bought.
Marquetry
Very popular craftwork producing mainly boxes with the typical Arabian decoration.
Fans, castanets, guitars, mantillas
Handmade fans with colourful decorations and precious mantillas can be found in Sevilla. The mantillas have different sizes and are worn for special occasions.
You can also find the popular musical instrument, the castanets, and even guitars, although a good one should be bought at
a luthier (guitar manufacturer) and it is possible that it has to be ordered in advance.
Other typical gifts are, of course, olive oil and sherry, but also the vinegar from Jerez or the sweets made by nuns.
Also leather items can be found, especially in Córdoba, like handbags and belts. The leather products made in Córdoba have a typical pattern called “repujado”.
