Accomodations
Depending on your interests you can find splendid hotels in the center of the cities or hostels in the countryside. If you want to visit museums, cathedrals and walk around the city, choose the center. If you want to climb mountains, walk through pinewoods or watch the birds, choose a hostel. And if you want to swim in the sea, choose an hotel at the beach or rent an appartment.
Hostels
There are many cheap hostels in the mountains which can be found in corresponding organizational websites. Another option can be hostels with shared kitchens and bedrooms, depending on your needs.
Appartments
At the coast the best option could be an appartment, as you have no need to observe certain hours regarding breakfast, lunch, etc. in order to be free to spend the time at the beach. They can be rented weekly, monthly and there are many websites with corresponding information.
Paradores
A good option are always the “Paradores”, managed by the Government and, usually, placed in old castles or other historic buildings offering beautiful sights of the city and its surroundings. They not only offer a qualified service but also first rate restaurants with the typical gastronomy of the place. It is advisable to reserve in advance as some of them, like the Parador in Granada, are frecuently booked.
There are Paradores in Ubeda, Mojácar, Granada, Ronda, Arcos de la Frontera, Sevilla (Carmona), Mazagón and even if you are not going to stay in them it is always a good choice to visit their restaurants or have a coffee in their wonderful terraces.
