The Alhambra new 7 Wonder of the World

The Alhambra can be one of the new 7 Wonders of the World.

The idea, promoted by Swiss filmdirector Bernard Weber, is to select 7 new world wonder by June 2007. The new Wonders of the World will be announced in Lisbon, Portugal, during yhe Official Declaration Ceremony on July 7th.
The Alhambra has been pre-selected. Now its time to vote in internet in order to choose the new wonders.
The pre-selected sights are the Acropolis, the Alhambra, Anghor, Chitzen Itza, Christ Redeemer, Colosseum, Easter Island Statues, Eiffel Tower, GreatWall, Hagia Sophia, Kiyomizu Temple, Kremlin/St. Basil, Machu Picchu, Neuschwanstein Castle, Petra, Pyramids of Giza, Statue of Liberty, Stonehenge, Sydney Opera House, Taj Mahal, Timbuktu.

Expo 2008 Stand in Bilbao

The Expo 2008 will have a stand in the Tourism and Leisure Time Fair in Bilbao (May 10th-13th).
The Expo will take place in 2008 from June 14th to September 14th with the topic: “Water and Sustainable Development”.


Three new routes at Alhambra and Generalife

Three new routes around the Alhambra and the Generalife will be created this year.
Three more are going to be created later on. Among the plans is a pedestrian walkway.
